Edition 7/9 Height 45cm The original model which starred in the 1963 film ‘Jason and the Argonauts’ had deteriorated significantly and Ray Harryhausen made this sculpture to create a permanent reminder of Talos. The original bronze can be seen on page 216 of The Art of Ray Harryhausen. This full size reproduction has been cast using waxes taken from the original mould produced by Ray Harryhausen himself. There is a limited Edition of Nine full size Bronzes being produced each being numbered. There will also be a run of Twenty Five Half Scale versions produced. A percentage of all sales will be donated to The Ray and Diana Harryhausen Foundation to help preserve Ray’s extensive body of work.
