Constructed with 25 mm chunky oak which originates from Belgium sleepers , and still show the original bolt holes giving a real rustic edge . The oak has been hand sanded to give a smooth finish and layered with satin varnish to give it a light sheen displaying all the rustic blackened grain and natural unique beauty of the wood . We have equally placed cast iron pipe fittings on an angle which are the perfect size to fit the neck of each bottle. Each fitting is hand polished and lacquered to give a light sheen and black japanned screws hold each fitting in place . We added a hand cut hand stitched, Italian thick chunky leather handle to the top of the rack purely for show and to add more dimension to the finished product . The handle is screwed in place and topped with satin chrome coloured covers hiding the screw heads . Our small stag head logo branded into the oak completes the finished hand made touch to this beautiful piece .
