An unusual rack for those that love the industrial rustic look with a touch of class , hand constructed using beautiful reclaimed oak and cast iron fittings . The Old School lends itself to the country home , modern home , or farm house or even barn conversion , mixing the old with the new . Ideal for the cloakroom or hallway , boot room , for coats , hats , bags or even dog leads . Also useful in the bathroom for hanging robes or towels , or the children’s bedroom for all their bits and bobs ! Constructed with chunky 25 mm thick chunky reclaimed oak which originates from Belgium sleepers , that still boast the original bolt holes that they were fixed with , giving the oak that added rustic look . The oak has been hand sanded and satin varnished to give it a light sheen exposing the rustic blackened grain and all its original unique beauty . We have equally placed 5 hooks , which have been hand constructed from cast iron bends and fittings finally creating each quirky industrial style hook for hanging . Each fitting is hand polished and lacquered to give a light satin sheen . The fittings are hand screwed into the oak using black japanned screws . A long length of thick chunky hand cut and hand stitched Italian leather creates a gorgeous handle purely for show , which completes the quirky and impressive finish to the coat rack adding a unique rustic difference to this gorgeous piece . The handle is screwed into place each end and topped with satin chrome coloured screw covers . Our Mili stag head logo is branded in the oak giving the final bespoke hand crafted ultimate finish .
