Potters lodge has a gorgeous little chimney attached to the back of the lodge on the apex of the roof , piled with smaller pebbles , and adorns a slate capped top , and reclaimed lead flashing to the base of the chimney . As well as the stunning handpicked shiny coated cobbles , a reclaimed waxed slate tiled roof , a solid oak apex with rustic exposed uniform pins and hand cut reclaimed lead adorns the ridge of the roof with its quirky finial at the end overhanging the gable . Potters Lodge , boasts a solid oak dummy entrance with a black japanned screw as a door handle , and a quirky overhanging door frame cut from solid oak simply adds the rustic finishing touch . The door mat has been made from hand cut twigs that we have been bonded together using epoxy resin which looks stunning but also protects the doormat from the elements . Potters Lodge boasts two cute little four paned windows in the shape of a heart which statements the love of gardening and there is one situated either side of the property . These gorgeous windows are made out of wood and carefully layered with resin to give the impression of real glass as well as protecting the wood . A log slice completes the finish with the name “Potters Lodge “ inscribed by hand with a pyrography wood burning tool . We completed the pretty gorgeous finishing touches to Potters Lodge with a really cute little red coated trug with little rubber wheels and a bar style handle filled with tiny logs and foliage with teeny weeny coloured flowers that just look stunning . An additional pot with pretty flowers and foliage sits presentably potted beside the entrance door for a welcoming entrance . A watering can is an added must to keep, those flowers in bloom , and a spade for digging lays idly beside it . Let’s not forget those green wellies that have been kicked off at the foot of the door for a well deserved tea break !!
